LIFE AND TIMES OF HER LORDSHIP APOSTLE (MRS.) JENNY MONDAY ESAU

1ST JANUARY 1946 – 26TH DECEMBER, 2024

PREAMBLE:

Sweet is the day of sacred rest, no mortals cares disturb my breast, O may my heart in tune be found like David's harp of solemn sound. Yes, when this heart and flesh shall fail, and  mortal life hall cease, I shall possess within the veil, a life of joy n peace, when Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and take me home, with joy shall I fill my heart, then, I shall bow in humble adoration and there proclaim, my God how great thou art.

BIRTH AND PARENTAGE:

Late Apostle Mrs. Jenny Monday was born on 1st January 1946 into the Royal family of Late Chief Ezekiel Etuk-Ebe of Ibia Edem Urau and Late Mrs. Maggi Etuk-Ebe of Ekpok Nto Afah all in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

EDUCATION:

Mummy attended Obon Ebot Group School, due to the death of her father, she could not meet up, but since she knew the importance of education, as she grow up to adult, she enrolled herself at the Adult Evening education at No. 9 Inyang Street, Calabar where she sat for and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and she passed the exams at distinction level. This determination was to enable her to read and write by herself.

MARITAL LIFE:

Mma Etubom got married to her heart throb, Late Bishop Monday Esau of Obon Ebot village in Etim Ekpo L.G.A of Akwa Ibom State and the marriage was blessed with a dozen (six males and six females). May the good Lord be praise for his faithfulness as nine (9) children are alive to bid her farewell and other children inherit from the Lord Vine yard.

OCCUPATION:

Every good woman love to see the growth of her family and leaves an inheritance for their children's. That is why the bible says “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands, the foolish one tear her's down. She help her husband in building the home by joining him in tailoring work, treading food stuff in various bush markets, trading dry fish and crayfish in various beach markets. After all the these stress, she settle down and steady in poultry farm business as a result of daily bread, as a good woman that can build her home.

CHRISTIAN LIFE:

Apostle Mrs. Jenny was born into  a Christ Army Church family, no wonder she named herself (Soldier of Christ) and she love singing (He has never disappoint me one day, since I joint the army of the Lord, he has never disappoint me one day). She later embrace the Qua Iboe Church when she got married. After the Nigeria Civil war, she sojourned to Calabar where she changed her faith to the Mount Zion Lihthouse Full Gospel Church. As a  diligent an active member, Mma was ordained as a Deaconess by Late Bishop J. E. Etefia. She was a chorister, a prophetess and a Women Fellowship President. As the Lord wills may be. The Lord instructed her husband and give him a staff to gather the lost sheep and shepherd, as a good wife, she stood by her husband and supported him in spiritual aspect, prayer and fasting and all activities in the church. For this end a word that says (Behind every successful man, there must be a good woman).

Mma Etubom stood firmly by our Late Bishop since on the 10th of February 1985 to establish the Mount Zion Blessed Church which she was ordained as an Apostle of Christ by Late Apostle Peterson Nyang of Mount of Hope Mission Church. After the death of her husband, she took up the mantle of General Overseer and pilot the mission till date she passed on.

SOCIAL LIFE:

Apostle of Christ, Mma Etubm, Mma Akpan, Owo ekong Christ, Bible reader, a great builder, a good woman of God, a pillar, adviser, a mother to who cares, a woman filled with holy spirit and with human tolerance and accommodating heart, a helper, a warrior, seeing her your problem becomes over, she always gives someone consolation from the scriptures, she always show concern whenever there was any issue, especially when the matter is brought to her notice. This made her a great mother in Zion.

DEPARTURE:

Like the rain that fall from heaven, like the sunlight from the sky, like the leaf fell from the tree, like the wind that blows without giving notice, on the 26th of December, 2024 at about 7pm to this royal home and took the mother of all people away from them after one week and four days sickness. Apostle Mrs. Jenny was able to blessed all the children, the church, grand children, inlaws, neighbours and anybody that met her during that period. PEACE BE STILL that was the last statement.

CONCLUSION:

Many souls are in deep sleep, their ways are dark and slipping. O come down that they may awake and not be destroyed in their sin. Strengthen out souls to stand a right that they may stand firm in the fight an fight till victory is won.

Apostle has fought a good fight of faith and there await her a crown of glory. Apostle Jenny, a great leader, prayer warrior, owo ekong Christ, your children, Mount Zion Blessed, grand children, great grand children, in-laws, neighbours, really missed you. May your soul rest in peace – Amen.

She is survived by Children, grand children, great grand children, sister, in-lwas, nieces, nephews, cousins and too numerous to mention.
